The above is a design for a restored heritage canoe portage in a national park in Ontario.
Prior to approval to restore this portage, the ministry of environment required a drawing/sketch of the structure being built and work. Drawings were drafted in AutoCAD according to the clients needs, and sent to the appropriate agencies with a report for approval. Approval was obtained expediently based on these drawings/sketches, an environmental impact assessment (EIA) was done by a third party, and work was completed in less than 1 day.
According to the requirements for approval and the EIA, untreated Timber was obtained and milled locally, and local volunteer workers completed the construction. Contact us for more information.
